Chloe Lukasiak & Paige Hyland Review
My personal favourite on the show is Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak, (often called Chlobird) dances with such emotion and I wish she performed more Musical Theatre solos on Dance Moms. She is often given Lyrical or Contemporary solos which she looks beautiful in and can really use her emotion. A personally favourite for me would be 'Silence' and 'Wreck It'. I think in both of these dances she, as well as just executing the steps, really made it her own and like it was very spontaneous. I think that Chloe gets treated very badly and although she may not be as technically good as Maddie she is definitely just as nice or even nicer to watch. I think she should be treated as Chloe instead of Maddie's sidekick. I'm very proud of her for coping with everything Abby says to her. She also has performed in many duets and trios, my personal favourite of these is 'Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil'.
Paige Mackenzie Hyland and Chloe are often called the 'Twinnies'. This is because they look so similar (see picture above). Paige is often called Paigey or PaigeyMack. Paige is not given the opportunities she deserves by Abby because apparently she is a 'mediocre brat'. Her older sister Brooke Hyland is on the team too. In Season 1, Paige and Brooke have a duet Ooh La La and Paige's last solo in Season 4 is also called Ooh La La! Unfortunately during Season 4 Kelly Hyland (their mother) had a physical fight with Abby and Abby called the police and Kelly, Brooke and Paige were removed from the building. They were taken to court for physical abuse. Now for the rest of this competition season none of them will be allowed near the Abby Lee Dance Company. Although this was meant to be forever so many Hyland fans have said they will stop watching the show therefore Abby has said that she will allow them back, for Season 5 (May), as long as the court say it's fine. I'm proud of Paige though, because she's stuck with dancing since she was little even after being called a brat.
